Sunset at Bluff Knoll

Writer: Wombok BoisWombok Bois

It was a crazy idea to head down to Bluff Knoll for a sunset trek. 1 hour 9 minutes drive away from Albany city and about 2 hours to climb to the peak. We reached the carpark at about 5:30PM and did some light stretches before commencing the trek.

Bottles filled, snacks ready, and up we climbed.

On our way up, I managed to take some shots of how the trail looked like and how puny the carpark was. Unfortunately, we weren't able to catch the sunset at the peak (like we intended to), but the view was still as beautiful at 'blue hour'.

Spot the carpark here.

On our way down, we had to use the torchlight from our phones as it was pitch-black without any light source. It took us longer than expected to return to the carpark.

As we approached the carpark and looked up, the view of the sky was simply amazing - it was filled with stars. We loved it.

(The tripod head wasn't firm enough to support the load of my camera + lens.)

I hope you enjoyed this series of photographs!
